The following library is drawn from the current best evidence-based practice on transgender care and includes links to systematic reviews.
This library also includes unpublished research data, guides, views and
opinions based on Transgender
Zone research.
Over 5500 potentially relevant journal
articles are read every year.
To accomplish this him or herself, a clinician would have to read 15
articles each and every day every year ...
If the clinician only managed to read two articles every day, after two
years, the clinician would have to have a 10-year backlog. After 20 years,
the backlog would take over 100 years to read!

relationships with their doctors. If you have opinions about this topic
that you'd like to share, I'd love to hear from you. I'm interested in

Sex
change doctor rushed treatments, GMC rules. The General Medical Council
(GMC) today declared that the UK's top expert on transsexualism
inappropriately rushed patients into sex changing treatments. Its
inquiry into the consultant psychiatrist Dr Russell Reid found that he
gave five patients hormones too soon and referred them for genital surgery
without an adequate assessment of their health or proof that they were
transsexuals.

The NHS Confidentiality
campaign was set up to protect patient confidentiality and to provide a
focus for patient-led opposition the government’s NHS Care Records System.
NHS Care Records are currently being rolled out and will form a huge
national database of patient medical records and personal information
(sometimes referred to as the NHS ’spine’) with no opt-in or opt-out
mechanism for patients at all. It is very much akin to the government’s
proposed ID database. If you are interested in safeguarding your medical
records from the wider world.

Social exclusion of young lesbian, gay,
bisexual and transgender people (LGBT) in Europe. This joint report by
IGLYO and ILGA-Europe is a response to the need to bring attention to the
social exclusion of young LGBT people in Europe and to put the issue on
the agenda of national and European policy-makers. This publication
highlights the effect that discrimination on the ground of sexual
